Hey guys! I know it's been awhile. Finally updated and everything and actually put up pictures. I'll be putting up more stuff as the school year goes on.
Anyways...I AM AWESOME!!!!! Lol sorry. I know odd title for this so I'll elaborate, but I have to start from 8/27/08. I got a new job and it was official this day. Started working at a hair salon as a receptionist and as an assistant. So I help whenever I can with anything I can. First day was Friday, 8/29/08, worked from 11:30 to 4 (i get to leave school at 11 everyday), got off from there, ran around for two hours then went to my second job at a movie theatre where we played "Mamma Mia!" Saturday, went to the theatre worked again, all that jazz, same movie, etc. Got 6 hours of sleep, then got up went to my grandparents on 8/31/08, where they were hosting the 1st annual Egg Shoot contest for the city. What it was, was basically this:
1) 4 eggs on a plank with a black cloth behind them...it was 100 yards away from you...
2) You set up your rifle (I used a 243 bolt action winchester <my grandfather's>, and sighted it in on the first egg...then you had to get up and walk 5 feet from it.
3) A person timed you to see how fast you could shoot ALL 4 eggs, and the person who shot all of them the fastest won the competition.

There were trophies for the first and second place winners, and an autographed book from my grandfather (he wrote it). I was entered in the competition and I had never shot anything other than air rifles and bb guns. Amazingly I won 2nd place with 4 eggs 1:03, first place was 0:47 with 4 eggs, and third place was won by my grandfather with 4 eggs and 1:18. So I won a trophy and $21 from my uncle whom I outshot. It was even more shocking to everyone other than the fact that a)i never shot a gun before, b)i haven't shot and aimed at anything in 2 years, and c)i outshot 2 expertly trained military marksmen. It was a good day lol.
